Two things we never do here is the split beam like the picture or notch the posts.
I would add substantial angle braces from the rim to the posts on both posts.
And I would add the angled 2x4 flat under the joists from that post back toward the house.
All the forces will be trying to rack you deck so anything that will counter that is a plus.
BTW in case you haven't noticed that they changed the treatment so now we cover the tops of joists to protect them from the crap that gets between the decking and holds water at the joists. Almost anything works, flexible flashing, tar paper or even just poly.
