composite deck trim

I am not sure what manuf made this composite decking, but the trim is falling apart. I did find a date of 1998 on the back of one of the boards as the manuf date. Trim measures 1.5" wide and 1/4" thick. Anyone have any ideas where I can source something to replace the trim that's falling apart? Getting ready to sell the house. Thx
For some reason it will not allow posting pics via photobucket. I will when I figure out how to.

Re: composite deck trim

Yeah that's not 1/4" thick... 1/2" maybe.

Might be Timbertech. http://www.homedecks.com/images/mate...timbertech.jpg

I think that decking was phased out long ago. Best you could do is go shopping for something that is close in color. Anything you put on that's new is going to look horrible against the old faded color.

Re: composite deck trim

I suspect they probably cut up fascia cover and routered a round over on it... fascia cover was 7/16" thick.

Re: composite deck trim

I remeasured the thickness, but max I can get is 3/8". It sure doesnt look routered to me, as the surface seems to be a diff color than the inside when I cut it. Thx for the info
