cleaning exterior masonry walls

I bought a 1920s home last month. The exterior is an aggregate cement. My first mission was to clean what looked like a buildup of dirt under the overhangs and part way down the walls (around the entire home).

Tried spraying with a power nossle, then "Krud Kutter". Even took a hose and broom to scrub the dark areas. No luck.

Any ideas?

3 c clorox : 1 c dawn dishwashing detergent in 1/2 gal water sucked up by the intake hose on your rented pressure washer - 2,500psi minimum,,, we use turbo nozzles on 4,000psi machines
