adding sink

I have a 2 story home and I am adding a 2nd sink to the master bath on the 1st floor. Will it hurt the stability of the structure if I drill thru the 2x4's to insert the additional line to connect a 2nd sink?

Pictures?

If you look through archives, I added a second sink on my first floor master bath as well.

But post some pics, it will make giving you advice a lot easier....
