9.25" joists


Is a 9.25" joist beam the same as a 2x10? I thought it was but just wanted to make sure

Yes...
I bet it ain't 2" wide either..

Dimensional lumber is sized by what it was Cut too, not what it's planed too...

yeah its like 1.8" wide but was just making sure my assumptions were correct
