I would use pressure-treated lumber only directly on concrete, and nail to slab with nail gun (concrete nails).
Good Luck!

Is this for a finish floor in a basement? Did you test for moisture? http://www.buildingscience.com/docum...ms?full_view=1

Don't forget the sill sealer under it for a capillary and thermal break. P.t. wood is not waterproof: http://www.greenbuildingadvisor.com/...-building-code

Be safe, Gary

17,000 dryer fires a year, when did you last clean the inside of the dryer near motor or the exhaust ducting?

Options include Phillips red heads (needs a rotary drill), 22 or 38 Ramset (rent the gun), concrete nails (very poor attachment), expansion anchors (install using a drill with masonry bit). As noted, lumber must be PT. I assume lumber is being installed flat face down, if you are attaching through the 5-1/4 inch side that is a different problem, let us know if you need to install the long way.
