switch/light wiring

Here is my setup:

My light switch box (I am putting a regular switch in (not a three way)), has three wires coming in:

one is from my light
one is from the hallway light switch (which is a three way switch)
one is from the bedroom light switch

(ALL of these wires have a black, white and ground (no red))

My light (the one with the wire going into my light switch setup, has two wires going into it.

One is from the light switch (above)
The other is an old wire (I assume it is the one feeding the power)

How do I hook up the light switch, and how to I hook up the light?

I already tried hooking all blacks to blacks, whites to whites and pigtailed...doing this, flips the breaker when I turn on the light.

I was thinking of putting the white wire from my switch that is going into the light to the black wires. But I wanted to run that by someone first before I tried it.

Thanks for the help...

Connect all the whites together.
Connect all the grounds together.
Connect the power black to the other switch black and to a black pigtail.
Connect the pigtail and the fixture black to the switch.

Look at the second setup in link if you have 3 wires in a box and 3 lights sounds like the power is in the light box and all you havhttp://www.crsupport.us/144.htmle is switch loops.

Well you only descried wires in the switch box so I was telling how to connect in the switch box.
If you can't understand what I wrote then I think you need an electrician. I can't make it any plainer.
