Square D Homeline VS QO
What is the difference between square d homeline and QO? Which would be best for a residential sub panel? Also why do panels say for example 12 circuits amx but only 6 slots?

The breaker internals are the same. QO has the visi-trip indicator that the Homeline does not. QO uses copper buss, Homeline uses aluminum buss.
The panels listed as 6/12 allow the use of 1/2 size tandem breakers, ie 6 tandems for 12 circuits or 6 full size breakers.

That's what I thought, I was just double checking.
Thanks.
