Solution for Power Loss Alert when no Land line available?

I have an unusual problem. I have a cabin in a winter climate where Power loss is strong possibility. Loss of power would result in no heat and freezing/bursting pipes.
Land phone line is not practical due to location.
Does any one know of a product cell phone based that can be programed/triggered to call out on a cell phone to a specific number to alert of power failure?

Thanks

yes but I'll have to look for one to show. They are out there though.

since a land line is not a possibility, are you far enough away from everything that a cellphone would not be dependable as well?

Great point on the signal strength. Reception is only fair in the area. It appears to vary by time fo day. If I find a way to dial out by cell phone, I would need to get an external antenna.

I would settle for a text alert if there is any products designed to make the connection in case of extended power loos.\\Thanks Brian G

Try this link:

This company's equipment can send out a page, e-mail, or SMS text message. We use them for monitoring remote storm water management de-watering pumps. NOTE that the post about cell phone reception is well taken - you should check their coverage area and maybe even try your own cell phone first in the area you want to monitor. VERIFY the coverage area.

There is a cost for the service - about $20 per month as I recall, but it has worked very well for us and so far we haven't drowned anyone.... :)
