Removal of jetted tub wiring

Hello,

I am in the process of replacing a jetted tub with a non-jetted tub and I am looking for help on the safest way to eliminate the wiring that was hard wired into the whirlpool motor. The wire is on a dedicated circuit and is in a second floor bathroom.

THanks for any help you can provide.

Eric

You could install an accessible junction box and cap the wires and cover the box with a blank plate.
