Recessed Light Issue?

Getting ready to have spray foam and drywall hung. I already installed all the new construction recessed lights, got nspected, and tested. I notice that in one room (4 cans) one of the lights after a while will shut off for a while, then once off will come back on after a little time. This keeps continuing. It is only the one and the same light everytime. What would cause this? I what to correct the issue before the insulation and ceiling goes up. It is all new 20 amp 12/2 and it is conected to temporary power. What would cause this?

The T-Sat could be bad or the fixture is getting hot for some reason. If there is no obstruction keeping heat in the fixture, replace the fixture. There will be a small button (t-stat) inside the can if the fixtures are "IC" rated. This button is what opens the circuit on over heat. I do not think they are removable, or replaceable. I am fairly certain you will just need to replace the whole thing. "the fixture"

Try a smaller wattage lamp. Look at the sticker on the inside edge of the can, it will tell you what size you can use with what trim.
