Question about a kitchen rough in

Is it ok to put a receptacle in the same stud bay as the shower diverter and plumbing? Opinions on doing this?

If your in Canada this would not be allowed, the fridge needs its own circuit.

To all users please put in your info your location so when can give accurate information.

This is one case where the Codes as written go beyond basic safety measures. While there is nothing unsafe with having a few small lights on SABCs, or even the fridge circuit, electrical codes in both the US and Canada prohibit this.

Best to wire those lights separately, and yes you should be able to use a #14 wire for them.
