i dont have my 2008 nec book in front of me but i believe lights in a bath cannot be on receptacle circuits anyway thats how the local ionspectors interpret it also we are blessed or cursed with all new construction using arc fault breakers another headache

Bath ?
Who's talking about a bath ?
This is a basement

And lights & outlets CAN be on the same circuit in a bathroom under NEC
