Panel to stove ,not full pwr ?


Hey there,,old wiring removed, from stove to panel,,,new installed, correct gauge, 40am breaker.... Continuity checks . wiring checks,,,yet not full pwr on news stove...light works on top and stove,,warming burner works,,, I do have 110 on both side of incoming receptcle,,perplexed......???get back ,,thxs Kevin

Any chance did you have GE breakers aka 1 inch twinner or skinny breakers if that the case you will have to move it up or down half width to get it full.

If not check the voltage between red et black conductors you should get full 240 volts if reading zero volts between the two that mean you have to check the breaker to verify it.

And where did you read the voltage from ?? at the breaker or at the recepectale ??
