outdoors floodlight


i have just moved an outdoors floodlight to another location. however it wont work, this is what i have

a double switch with 2 core wire red & white, i have pigtailed the red int the switch. the 2 core then runs to the floodlight, where i have brown & blue, i have the red to brown and white to blue, though the light does not work, can anyone help me here as to what may be going wrong.

Is the power getting tyhrough?

You need a voltmeter to measure between red and white at the switch and again between red and white at the light, for starters.

Stick to your lawn watering schedule until it really starts to pour. After the storm you have only the same number of rest days you always had and then you need to start watering again.
