Sounds like the cable feeding the power to the switches was left out of the switch box.

Thanks for the help so far. Everything is functional right now, however I haven't ordered the timer switch. Is the Lutron MA-T51MN (white, neutral req.) for $43.65 shipped a great deal?

Also, after expanding the box from a single to 3-gang, a hand towel on the towel bar (at the standard 48 inches above the floor) somewhat droops over one of the switches. Is there a code for how much distance apart it should be from the switches?

These were pretty much the only steps where the air wasn't so dusty/contaminated that I was able to take out the camera.
