Is My Electric Meter Correct: Conclusion.

On 08-11-2010 I wrote a topic (Is my electric meter correct) questioning my utility meter accuracy.
After comparing to the WattsUp meter data, I paid $20 to have my meter checked by my electric company, PPL.
During the testing month that just passed, I did the same test to the new digitial meter they put in its place while my old meter was being tested. The margin of error ranged from only 2.4 to 2.5%.
The results just came back from the test and the meter was out of spec on the low end and the report recommended a 3% credit be issued to the customer (ME). I was never out for blood, that is the meter was not the reason for my whole process, just a logical step in it. I settled on a $150 credit, about 2 months billing for me...
Anyway, just thought I would tell you all how it panned out.....
