Main 200 amp Breaker Box Cover Missing Outside

I noticed a main breaker box cover was missing outside at an apartment building. It had three 200 amp breakers inside. My opinion was getting the cover back on was a priority, any thoughts? Photo attached. Seems like this could be dangerous with kids around, possible rain water getting inside etc.

You are correct, it does need a cover to protect from the weather and unauthorized entry.

However that is a Federal Pacific panel. You will not be able to get a replacement from the manufacturer. There are many electrical supply companies that handle old and refurbished electrical equipment. One of them may have a replacement unit. The other option is to have one custom made.
