Low voltage wiring

Maybe posting this here will attract more!

I am wiring deck lights and was wonder if anybody here has some techniques or methods they use to conseal the wiring. These will be on the rail posts.

I'll try and get some picture up later today.

install LED solar lights .

I suppose you could cut grooves the railings and hide it that way but concealing the wire isn't enough in this case...i'm assuming your using romex and you can't just install it anywhere. It would all have to be done with pvc and damp location wire as well as be on a gfci breaker.\

i missed the title where is said low voltage. i'd router out a small groove on the railing and then cut a strip that fits the groove once wiring was in place

I like the groove idea. That would definitely be the best for concealing the wire. Another way is to just staple the wire under railing, or you can get zipties that have a hole at the top for a screw. Then you just screw the zipties under the rail or somewhere where that they can be concealed and then run the wire and ziptie away. I've also used 5 minute epoxy before and then used clamps to let the epoxy setup, but that method is very time consuming.
