Looking for AL to AL connectors

I am semi upgrading my eletrical wiring throughout my house with COALR and Alumiconn pigtailing when COALR devices are not available, ie GFI and light fixtures, its a 1964 built house with AL wiring. I have some instances where there are AL to AL connections throughout the house with older white twist on wire nuts. I can't seem to find any current twist on connectors rated for AL to AL connections. The only thing that comes close is the purple Ideal 65 AL to CU twist on, but Ideal's website states no AL to AL allowed per UL recommendations. Mind you, I am not pigtailing any copper on these particular connections, this is strictly to keep the same AL-AL connections as is yet upgrade them.

Does anyone know how to upgrade these AL to AL connections in a safe and cheap manner? Is there a DIY barrel crimp available or better yet an AL to AL twist connector out there? Will a typical Ideal CU to CU twist conenctor with Penetrox anti oxidant paste work and be safe? The only other option I can think of is the Alumiconn pigtail connector yet without the pigtail, but at roughly $3 a pop it will get costly fast and my boxes dont have much room as they are the older metal gang boxes.

Thanks for any input.

Forget HD or any of the Big Box Stores
Go to an Electrical supply house that sells to the Trade
