Leviton Decora Lighted switch

I have a 4 lamp T8 fluorescent ceiling fixture in the kitchen. Can I use a lighted Leviton Decora switch #5611 to control it? I now hear that it may not be for fluorescent fixtures. Is this true?

Regards,
Mike

It can be used but the only gotcha is electronic ballast it may flicker when the switch is off postion { lighted handle when load is off } but magatic ballast naw not a issue it will handle just fine.

So try it but if flicker then you will know the answer.

Otherwise take a quick peek at the ballast label it will useally tell which type of ballast it have so you will know what it have there.

Merci,
Marc
