Landlord needs a head-smack Oven plugged in

Was at my pal's apartment this weekend. He rents. His oven/stovetop is one of the small rental sized jobs. It's plugged into an outlet attached to the adjacent cupboard.

Meant to grab a pic - but the grounded three prong plug is connected to the two prong receptacle with an adaptor! And of course, it was installed upside down so it was not screwed onto the rec to establish a ground with the BX and metal box.

If I could only remember to THINK about what I was doing before I did it.

lol nice. He could of at least used a crocodile clip to connect the ground pin to a lose piece of copper pipe. "hey, they said it has to be grounded to the water pipe, and it is!"
