Hunter ceiling fan problems

I have a Hunter ceiling fan 21322 that I installed a year ago. It worked great until a few days ago. The motor does nothing--no humming or noise of any kind--but the light works so I know it's got electricity. Can anyone tell me what to look for that might need fixing? My warranty just ran out and I'm thinking that surely it is something simple? Any help is much appreciated.

First thing I would look at is the wire connections in the fixture. The black of the ceiling fan is the power source for the fan itself. There is a chance it could have become disconnected. At any rate given what you describe that is likely the only problem that won't require replacement parts or such.
