How to mount outside receptical on vinyl siding

This weekend I am planning on adding an outdoor receptical that will be mounted on the side our the house right around the rim joist area... the house has vinyl siding. What is the best way to mount this box on the house? should the siding be cut back and have a mounting block (I dont know what they are called? those vinyl boxes that you mount stuff like porch lights on) or how would it be done best?

There are many ways that this can be accomplished. The easiest way would be with a "bell box".
Gotta a photo?

Those are much nicer than a bell box but not easier because you have to cut the siding. With a bell box, one hole and you're done.

But Arlington does make awesome products.

those are fine just stay away from the mini recessed blocks you find at homecenters, not that they are bad but the sometimes interfere with the plastic cover that has to go over the new outlets
