How many potlights in a 12x20' room

My wife has moved her office/showroom to our front room/living room and there are no lighting fixtures in it at all. There is a switch that controls and outlet that we have a lamp plugged into but that's it.

The room has her desk in it which has a lamp (not enough light) and then she's got her stock cabinet (a large armoire) that I mounted some small halogen lights into for when she's got it open and pulling stock and she has a glass display case that I also mounted a single halogen in. These lights only get used for accent lighting.

The attic is right above her office so I can get access from above.

Now I'm trying to decide what kind of fixtures to use and how many.

I was considering (6) 5" recessed IC remodel fixtures connected to a dimmer and then turning the outlet into a regular/always energized outlet.

I once stumbled upon a site that let you enter room dimensions and fixtures and it would show you what the room would look like with the new lights but I can't find it.

Any ideas on how many lights I should be using? Breaker is 15 amps.

6 or 8 sounds about right. You might be happier with 6" cans---many more trims available.

Wider range of bulbs ,too.
