honeywell v4073


hi, i have trouble with my central heating, it will only warm the rads when the water is being heated, as soon as the water is hot the rads go off. my husband thinks its the honeywell mid postition valve, we think it may have been wired wrongly the grey and yellow wire look round the wrong way, but we are not sure, can anyone help, has anyone got a photo or diagram[/

It sounds like your aquastat is controlling your circulator pump. The thermostat should be controlling the circulator. It might be a simple matter of changing a control wiring connection to fix your problem.

You may want to post this question over in the HVAC section.

honeywell v4073


can anyone help. i am having trouble, my central heating rads will only get warm when my hot water is being heated, and as soon as the hot water is hot enough, the rads stop being heated, i think it might be a wiring problem, the guy who came and looked at it wasnt that good. if you can help me with either a diagram or photo. that would be a great help. i think the grey and yellow wires arent in the right order, any help will be greatful...

The zone valve should control the circ and or aquastat.

Post pics of your wiring.
