Fluke display backlight

Hello all,

I realize that this might be outside the focus of this forum but I thought I'd give it a shot anyway.

I just recently upgraded all my electrical testing equipment and one item is a gently used Fluke 117 multi-meter. I'm pretty happy with it except for the display backlight. It's exceptionally dim.

I was wondering if anyone here has attempted to modify their Fluke in some way to make the display brighter. Perhaps by replacing the LEDs with brighter ones.

Thank you.
