Extra wire on new light fixture?

I bought a new light to replace an older existing on. Unfortunately it came with no instructions. It has a black wire, white wire, green wire and then attached to the metal plate is a yellow and green wire. My house has black, white and copper wires. I realize black to black and white to white But which of the remaining wires gets connected to the copper wire.....or do both get connected?

The green/yellow wire is your ground. That should be bound to the ground (bare) wire in your junction box.

Both the green and the yellow/green should be attached to the bare copper conductor.
