Dishwasher outlet


Can someone tell me if you need a 110v or 220v outlet for a dishwasher? Thanks

Unless it is a commercial model it is probably 120-volt but you should refer to the specs for the unit you are looking to install!

Try 240, if it smells funny when you turn it on, then try 120.

Actually it's most likely 120, but I'd read the specs. May need a 20 amp circuit, or maybe 15 will do, all depends what the specs say. Most residental will be 15 amp at 120 volts.
