Dishwasher/Disposal wiring with 3-wire

I remodeled my kitchen island and cannot figure out how to reconnect the diswasher and disposal.

At the fusebox I have 2 breakers, 1 marked "Dishwasher" and the other "Disposal".

Behind the dishwasher I have 1 wire with Red, Black, White, and Ground.

When I flip the breaker for dishwasher the RED line gets hot. When I flip the breaker for disposal the BLACK wire gets hot.

I also have a SPST switch mounted near the disposal to control it. (This may or may not have been SPST originally because I had gutted the cabinet and might have replaced something else with this..I dont remember.)

I'm wondering how to connect this circuit. I attached a drawing of how I THINK it's connected between the breakers and the wire behind the dishwasher. Please help! THanks, Amanda.

All grounds together, all whites together. Red wire goes to black of dishwasher. Black goes to switch and then to black of disposal.

Hi, thanks I'll try this again. I thought I did that but the disposal was running full , like the switch was bypassed. I must have made a mistake.
