DC questions

Hello all,
I'm new to the site and wanted to know if anyone has ever had to "Hot Wire" a Lazy Boy Lift Chair before. All the AC power to the chair was chewed up by a dog. I have the AC/DC power supply, The lift ram with a limit switch on it, the motor(gear box), and the actual hand pendant with two buttons for up and down.

Here is a quick run down-

Motor has Blue and Black wires

Ram has Blue and Yellow for the limit switch (Full stroke)

AC/DC Power Supply has Blue and Brown

The Hand Pendant has two buttons. One is UP and I get ohms from Grey to Green and Down I get ohms from Grey to yellow

I know the Ram and motor were wired so that the Motor(Black) and Ram(Yellow) were together, so both power lines to the motor action were blue.

I think buying a RTC switch would be easier than trying to use the hand pendant.

If anyone wants to try to help me, I will keep checking the feed.

Thank you,
David Neau

DC questions

Was it just the AC cord before the power supply that was damaged? Were all the DC wires to motor and control pendant ok?

If so I wouldn’t make this job any bigger than needed. Go buy an extension cord of same wire gauge, plug style, and cable jacket style and replace the chewed cord.
