Ceiling Fan Conversions

Can a drop rod mounted ceiling fan be converted to a flush mount ceiling fan without purchasing an entire new fan?

95% of the time, yes.
You would need all the parts that came in the box to make sure you had what you needed.

Ceiling Fan Conversions

JBFan,
Thank you for your reply. The drop rod ceiling fans I would like to convert to flush mounted ceiling fans are already installed in the house I purchased recently. No boxes or parts were left from any of these ceiling fans. I recently totally replaced one of the ceiling fans, but was hoping to save the expense of brand new fixtures for all the other fans. Do conversion kits exist to switch the remainder drop rod ceiling fans to flush mounted fans?

kits..

Some of the big box home stores carry conversion kit parts. Usually located in the lighting/ceiling fan area.

You could also contact the manufacturer. They may be able to sell/give you the parts necessary.
