Cable Type

Hey guys, it's been awhile.

60-100amp upgrade on a garage. What can I use between meter base and panel? I'm thinking I need 4 wires, so 2-2-4-6 SER? This will be a Main, not a Sub panel.

I'm using USE from weather head to meter base 2-2-4.

I do need 4 wires, don't I, between the meter and panel?

Main breaker panel only requires 3 wire, so SEU.
SER is used when 4 wires are needed, such as after a main disconnect at the meter.
