Bathroom Fan/Light Issue, Flickering on and off

Hey all, I recently installed a bathroom fan/light combo, wired to a timer switch. I noticed in the switch manual it said not to use with less than a 0.3 amp draw. The fan would pulse on and off if the light wasn't also hooked up. So we finished the project and everything seemed fine. Now we are noticing the fan & light sometimes flash on and off. I assume we are just at the minimum amp draw threshhold of the switch. So, I'm thinking of tapping off the circuit and simply installing a light bulb to add to the load. Figured I would run it by you all first and see if you had any thoughts or comments.

Switch is a Lutron Maestro 5-Amp Digital Residential Hardwired Countdown Lighting Timer

Fan/light is a Utilitech Ventilation Fan 1.5-Sone 100-CFM White Bathroom Fan.

That timer is designed for incandescent/halogen lights. Your fan light is an LED.

Get a timer that is compatible with LED. Or put a incandescent bulb in the fan/lite.

Crap, looks like you are right. I thought I checked compatibility before I purchased it, but obviously I missed it.

OK, this one was bugging me because I try to be careful when selecting products - I went back to the store and Lutron makes a whole bunch of dimmer switches that look almost identical to the timer switch I bought. They ARE rated for LED's. It's only the timer switch that is not. The devil is in the details!!
