Awesome electrical group here

Wow, just wow. This forum is not only mind-blowingly helpful, but respectful of question askers. Case in point, the 3-way switch help problem had me scratching my head, but Stubbie thought of a logical explanation first thing.
Massive admiration to the folks here like French Electrician and nap and Scuba Dave digging through the codes. Thanks, posters, for helping people across the internets without getting snooty because you know something they don't know.
And let me vent at the lawyers for a sec. People are going to try and fix their electrical issues. It's natural, it's what we do, we fix things. It's safer to come out and communicate with experienced people than to be left in the dark because the knowledgeable ones are silenced by fear of lawsuits. So, take your overpaid and obfuscating selves out to the courtrooms and instead of getting paid for making the world a closed and fearful place, fix the frackin' broken legal system so we can turn the lights on.
