20 amp switch on 15 amp circuit

Any problem with installing a 20 amp rated timer switch for bathroom fan on a 15 amp circuit?

Thanks,
Mike

That rating is saying the timer is capable of handling 20 amps. Your breaker will trip before the switch sees anything more than 15 amps. Get out your screwdriver.
