Remember to isolate the ground from the neutral in the sub panel. You will need a separate ground bar. Also be sure to put it in the living space, not the attic.

Iím aware of the rules about separating ground and neutral, but why does the panel need to be in the living space? I was planning to put it in part of the attic that will be accessible by a door in the knee wall.

I just looked at the rules about panel location. What a pain in the ass. The inspector is going to be here in a couple days so Iím going to have him help me find a spot.
