Wine Cooler Compressor not starting

Hi, first post on the forums and I really hope to learn alot and provide/get help.

I have a wine fridge that turns on but the compressor does not power on. I just hear clicking every 30 seconds or so.
I have measured the following:
- condenser fan works
- power going to relay good
- relay not broken, measures good resistance. No broken parts.
- compressor pins measure continuity
- overload protector also measured around 0.06ohms.

Is there something else I can check to pin point the issue?

Looking forward to the responses.

Thanks again.

- Damian

Easiest thing to try. Replaces the relay and adds a start capacitor for small money. YouTube videos show how easy it is to install.

Although a mini-fridge question, my response was about solving my wine cooler issue:

Re: Wine Cooler Compressor not starting

If your compressor wine fridge is not cooling, one of the reasons might be a defective thermostat. This component is responsible for the supply of power to the condenser, evaporator fan, and compressor.

Re: Wine Cooler Compressor not starting

Hi, that clicking every 30 seconds sure sounds like the relay, I have had the same thing with watercolors and the relay was always the issue, the thermostat is calling or you wouldn’t be getting the clicking.
