Pioneer 36,000 Mini Split

I have a mini split. sometimes it will only blow air out of each end of the evaporator, sometimes all across. I'ts not icing up. Is there a damper in there for some reason? I can turn it off and right back on when its not blowing out the middle and it will blow all across

WS036GMFI17HLD Indoor unit
YN036GMFI17RPD Outdoor
The indoor temp will fall below set temp, no air blowing out middle, but cold air out 6" of sides. turn it off and right back on and blows cold air all across. Why would they have a damper?

Is the space high in humidity?
Does the unit have a de-humidifier function?
It sounds like it is trying to de-humidify without blowing directly in the room.
It is not uncommon for HVAC systems to cool below the set point when drying to de-humidify.

I was hoping to get an answer so I wouldn't have to remove cover. I opened lid and looked every place I could and could not find a damper. I wouldn't think there could be somthing going on within the middle of squirrel cage fan causing it to act like this, I will look for a parts list to see if there is a damper. I couldn't think some phenomenon like a vortex inside the fan. surley someone else has witnessed this thing and has a simple explination

I couldn't find parts list for the 3 ton unit, but the 2 ton unit has nothing like a damper. I'm stumped, has to be somthing squirrely happing inside the squrrel cage fan it self causing air not to blow out evenly all across the fan.

I'm guessing it has to draw the chilled air in from each end of the fan and some how it is building up pressure or vacuum in the middle of the fan and not letting air out

Or the blower wheel is getting dirty in the area that has no air blowing out.
