Payne pg8maa filter location

Hi I am new here and am having trouble finding my filter in Payne pg8maa furnace located in the attic. Is anyone familiar with it? There is only one access door with no filter in it and that door has one of those little screw on openings. Is it supposed to be in there or do I just put filters in the bigger air duct openings that are throughout the house?

The filter may be just after the return grill.

Never jump out safeties - especially pressure switches - on a furnace for testing with fuel supply on; use a meter. Do not troubleshoot with live line voltage present unless there's no alternative.
