An easy Question

I took the Inducer pan off my furnace, today it was broken, and i have a replacement for it..
This Pan is made of plastic... i took the screws out and there is Caulking that was holding the two pieces together, i split the caulking and separated the two pieces. One piece stays with the furnace.

The caulking is grey in color .. My question is , do they use special caulking for too join them back together..

I would not think heat is an issue as these pieces are plastic.. The piece that is still on the furnace, has the secondary heat exchanger tubes coming through it... so the condensation from the gas would go into the plastic pan and then drain out too the condensation trap and to the pump.

here is a picture

It may be the same as RTV for autos and such, but wait until one of the hvac guys show up and answer.
