Dryer Vent Route Angle Option

For my dryer vent, I have to go thru a hole in a wall into my garage. I have to go up 40" or so to get above a doorway to outside wall, 12 feet from the hole.

Should I go straight up then a 90 to go over door, or a 45 angle from the hole to a 45 to be above the door?

Somewhat conditioned garage-well above freezing in winter. Will slope the horizontal to the outside. Wondering what angle to use as the 45 will be longer to maybe make condensation.

Over the door? thru the header?

shorter distance the better, and 45s are better than 90s
do you have a plan for how to seal the wall between the house and garage?

Usually that means a box around the duct and drywall.

Along the wall, over top a door opening into the mudroom where dryer is.

Was thinking the same-shorter is better.

Super snug hole in . Will be sealing well inside and out.

A wall between house and garage is bearing wall in most houses so expect a header.

Just sealing around a pipe would not pass here.
