cooling detached shop

I have a detached shop, it is completely unfinished on the inside (just bare studs) It has NO venting what so ever, no roof vents, no gable end vents, and no eave vents. The past couple days where I live have been in the high 60s and it seemed like it was 100+ inside the shop! It is all wood construction as well with no insulation either.

I am not worried about the cold as I can handle the cold but the heat is terrible! If I throw maybe 4-6 vents on the roof will that actually do anything? Its about 250 sq ft.

I do plan on sheetrocking the walls and have been contemplating if I should insulate them but then again I want to keep the ceiling open to the raters so I can use the attic for storage. So not insulating the ceiling would defeat the propose of insulating the walls.

Any ideas?

Vents won't help much. Once the roof gets hot. It will radiate heat down. So you'll still feel like its 100 when its 75 or above outside.
