What is this rock called?

And is there any way or logical reason to order a few bags online? Lowe's didn't have them over my way, could try Pike or other store this week. Thanks in advance

#1, What's your location?
#2, Makes no sense to order this online, if your trying to add on to what's there now someone found this locally.
Just looks like a piece of of coal or shale to me.

Re: What is this rock called?

Atlanta, so yes its here somewhere just got a distant stare from the idiot at Lowes that told me they are in Building Materials. Shale looks like right, yes trying to replace what was there but the area is a bit flood prone against a 3 ft brick wall that is a the side of a slab on grade bedroom, former carport. Looking for any other rock that might serve the purpose of absorbing or slowing the moisture transfer

I figured Atlanta when you mentioned Pike's. They would have it if any one would, or could get it. It looks to be slate to me as it is in layers.

I said landscape supply store. I meant a real landscape supply store. Big city like Atlanta, you should have a bunch.
