stepping stones


hey guys I'm new to these DIY things. You may think I have dumb questions I don't have any idea. I'm planing to use stepping stone to my garden and I have bought plastic mold for that. I want to know should i just put concrete or else should i add some chemical to the concrete mixture?? I want their color like bricks how can i get it??

There are liquid dyes made to color concrete.

mix it with the wet concrete, and pour in the molds, you might want to use some fiber reinforcement also, this mixes with the wet concrete.

As suggested earlier read and study all that you can find on the subject and have fun doing the project.

One bit of advice: uncured concrete is caustic, wear safety glasses rubber gloves and boots.

By the time you buy the dye at Lowes or HomeDepot the premade stones are almost as cheap. Now if you can find a cheaper supply you may come out ahead.
