Scotts DIY program

Hi everybody. I need some help from the people that have tried this. I am thinking about buying a Scott's Spreader and doing the Scott's 4 step application. I have read about it but I need input from real people. Think I should try it. Near Philadelphia PA. Spring right around the corner. Please advise.

Works ok but it's a pretty expensive route to go.
