New Pool Landscaping / Grading / Water Runoff / Weed Control

Hey guys so I just had my above ground round pool installed in my backyard which soil grading wise slopes away from my house. Since the pool is now on level ground I was hoping to find a good way to manage the water run off so it doesn't all go under the pool and hurt the integrity of the sand base.

I also plan on putting in a two foot barrier of gravel/landscape rocks aroUnd the pool to keep out the weeds and make the area around the pool look nice. I plan on using roundup to kill whatever is currently in that area before putting down the edging and rock.

I was hoping to get some ideas from you guys as to best ideas for water runoff maintenance as well as keeping the pesky weeds and crabgrass at bay.

Thanks

Landscape supply houses sell a fabic that is heavy not like the stuff at HD. It comes up to 12 ft wide and works really well under gravel.

Slope the soil, cover it with heavy plastic and this heavy fabric and gravel.
