Never thought of that. How deep do you go?

You epoxy in anchors or just use lag bolts?

Ive got about 18 foundation above grade (formed concrete) and then the EIFS starts which is about 2 1/4 thick.

You would like to have 12 to 14" inches between 2 bolts.

5/8" HDG wedge anchors, You would want a rotary hammer drill with 5/8"bit for that and a regular 5/8 bit and drill for what ever you are bolting there.

Re: Metal-Wood Gate

I assumed there would be suppliers of something similar to what Ive seen online but cant find any kits that include gate frame and hardware. Would this style all be custom?

Thinking 5 wide gate, handle set, self & soft close.

Re: Metal-Wood Gate

Alright, so I'll have to come up with sketch for the post w/ flange for the wood slats - maybe have them fabricate the wall post with an offset to allow bolt-to-foundation.

Looks like 3x3 aluminum posts in most of the pics I see online.

Once the posts are set I can get a site measurement for the gate.

Given we want to put a handleset on this instead of std latch, what tolerance am I looking to be withing? 1/8"
