Lawn

I have alot of weeds in my yard front and back. Whats the best way on a budget to get rid of them and make my yard look better. Is anything from Scotts or those companies worth it. Thanks for any advice on this.

Check with your local county agricultural department or local nursery and ask them the best way to rid weeds in your area, they should know.

Your summer can get extremely hot. Our summer here is extremely short, 3 months, we might get a couple 90 degree days if we're lucky. So what works for my location may not work for yours.

Here in my location, I've had luck with scotts turf builder, weed and feed. It feeds the lawn while destroying the weeds, especially dandelion. Just a thought.

I don't know how different the weeds are from South of Houston to your area, but I am having luck with this stuff on dollar weeds and dandelion. As soon as the weather warmed up, the dollar weeds came at full force. Parts of my yard looked lime green because there were so many of them.

I mixed 5oz with 1gal of water in a pump sprayer and spot treated the weeds. After 2 days, they started looking slightly more pale and wilty. After a week, they're starting to turn brown and don't look like they're growing back.
