Irrigation Schedule for Overseeding?

I just oversewed my lawn. I know that it's important to keep the seeds moist during the germination phase. How should I set my irrigation system for overseeding?

In other words, how many times per day and how long each time?

Just keep the soil surface moist (not wet, moist). Stick your finger in once and a while and if it starts to feel dry give it some water. You just need to keep the surface moist, so it won't take a lot. The established grass will help hold water so you shouldn't need to do it as often as when putting down seed for new grass.

2-3 times per day for about 10 minutes to just keep the soil slightly wet (will also depend on full sun vs. shade). you basically want your sprinklers to come back on as soon as it's dried out. You don't want to water deep at all at this point, so 10-15 minutes is enough.
